The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended two suspected drug dealers allegedly in possession of 120 pellets of a substance believed to be cocaine.
The arrest occurred in the Ojo area of Lagos State, following a tip-off received by officers from the Ojo Division.
Confirming the details of the arrest on Friday, the spokesperson for the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the suspects were taken into custody on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
“The duo of Sunday Nwabufor, a 47-year-old resident of Festac, and Obinna Nweke, a 45-year-old from Ketu Mile 12, were arrested by officers of Ojo Division at about 1400 hours in the Ojo area of Lagos State following a tip-off. They were found with 120 wraps of substance suspected to be cocaine,” he added.
