Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has successfully conducted a qualifying examination for candidates applying for this year’s free GCE forms.
This initiative, powered by the LCDA Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Ajala (HRA), took place on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Ilupeju Grammar School in Oshodi.
The event was marked by the presence of the LCDA Vice Chairman, Hon. Seyi Jakande, who represented the chairman during this crucial assessment.
In his address to the students, Hon. Jakande outlined the expectations and guidelines for the examination, emphasizing the importance of diligence and integrity throughout the process.
Joining him were key figures in the local government, including Hon. Rilwan Ola Ajenifuja, Leader of the Legislative Arm, and various councillors, such as Hon. Haruna Adeosun from Ward A2 and Hon. Bode Adeosun from C1B.
The Secretary of the LCDA, Hon. Mujeeb Ayinde Daramola, along with supervisors from different sectors including Education, Environment, WAPA, Youth and Sports, and the Special Duties team, were also in attendance, underscoring the collaborative effort of the local government in supporting education.
This initiative not only reflects the commitment of the Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA to foster educational growth but also embodies the belief that access to quality education is a fundamental right for all students.
