Gaa’s rule became marked by brutality and fear. He used his army to quell even the slightest hint of rebellion, slaughtering entire villages and selling their people into slavery. His police, the “Eso”, became notorious for their ruthlessness, striking fear into the hearts of all who crossed their path.
As Gaa’s power grew, so did his paranoia. He saw enemies everywhere, and his reign became marked by a series of bloody purges. Chiefs and nobles who had once supported him now found themselves accused of treason, their heads rolling in the dust.
