In a decisive move to enhance security and bolster the operational efficiency of its Rapid Response Squad (RRS), the Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), has introduced six state-of-the-art GAC saloon cars into the RRS fleet. The handover ceremony took place this afternoon, marking a significant step in the state’s ongoing efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety of its residents.
The vehicles were formally presented to Commander of the RRS, CSP Shola Jejeloye, by representatives of the Fund’s Executive Secretary, Mr. Degbola Lewis. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to equipping its security operatives with modern tools necessary for effective policing and rapid response to emergencies.
CSP Shola Jejeloye, while receiving the new fleet, expressed his gratitude and emphasized the positive impact these vehicles will have on the squad’s operational capabilities.
