In a swift and coordinated effort, operatives of the Lagos State Police Command arrested two suspects involved in a late-night robbery at a woman’s shop in the Ojo area.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, shared the news via his official X handle, highlighting the successful intervention by the police.
According to Mr. Hundeyin, the suspects, identified as 30-year-old Musa Ibrahim and 22-year-old Ibrahim Danjuma, targeted the shop around 11 PM in the Imude area of Ojo Local Government Area. Upon receiving the distress call, a patrol team from the Ilemba Hausa Division was promptly dispatched to the scene.
With the support of vigilant community members, the police managed to apprehend the suspects. During the arrest, a locally made firearm was recovered from the duo, underscoring the seriousness of their criminal intent.
The community’s cooperation and the rapid response of the police were pivotal in ensuring the suspects were caught before they could escape.
