Hon Akeem Jimmy Ajiboye, a media team member for the House of Representatives member representing Mushin Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Adeyemi Alli, has been elected as the new secretary of the Mushin Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye Agenda (MOA).
Ajiboye’s election to this pivotal role took place on Sunday, June 23, 2024, marking the beginning of a new leadership era for MOA.
The organisation, known as the “Online Media Conglomerate” in Mushin and Odi-Olowo, is a non-political entity dedicated to fostering development and progress in these areas of Lagos State.
The election was organised following the expiration of the previous executive members’ tenure, led by outgoing President Mr. Akinsete Diipo, which ended on June 12, 2024.
The transition and election were overseen by Comrade Adeleye Olusoji, with Hon. Noah Osifeso, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT), supervising the process.
Comrade Olusoji, while announcing the results, praised the orderly and peaceful conduct of the election, highlighting that members were able to cast their votes without fear or favor.
Joining Hon. Ajiboye in the new executive team are:
Comrade Muritala Olakunle AbdulSalam as President-elect
Olayinka Binturosula as Vice President-elect
Jimba Ganiyu A as Treasurer-elect
Additional positions, including Public Relations Officer (PRO), Welfare Officer, and Assistant Secretary, will be filled in subsequent elections as per the election timetable.
MOA’s mission focuses on providing a platform for social media administrators and managers to promote democratic values and good governance.
The organisation strives to create a positive and inclusive online environment, fostering constructive dialogue, and contributing to the overall development of the Mushin and Odi-Olowo local government areas.
This new leadership, spearheaded by Ajiboye, is expected to continue MOA’s impressive work in promoting responsible social media usage, democracy, and effective grassroots governance, ensuring sustained progress and development in the region.
