In a demonstration of his commitment to fulfilling promises, Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde presented a brand new Land Cruiser Prado Jeep to renowned Fuji maestro, King (Dr) Saheed Osupa.
The much-anticipated gesture is part of Governor Makinde’s initiative to reward exceptional individuals who have excelled in various fields, including the entertainment industry.
The presentation took place on Monday at the Presidential Lodge of the Government House in Ibadan.
Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, had the honour of delivering the Land Cruiser Prado Jeep to Osupa, symbolising the governor’s appreciation for his contributions to music and culture.
Governor Makinde’s commitment to recognising excellence within the state was evident as he fulfilled his pledge to Saheed Osupa.

In the words of Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, Saheed Osupa not only holds the distinction of being a prominent Fuji musician, but he is also a dedicated culture ambassador who has diligently promoted the rich Yoruba cultural heritage through his music, thus attaining worldwide acclaim.
