An incident occurred at Idi-Oro area in Mushin, Lagos, where a young man, who remains unidentified, suffered electrocution.
According to an anonymous source, the incident happened on Saturday June 10, 2023. He said it is suspected that the young man had consumed a dangerous substance known as “cololado,” which had adverse effects on his body.

The source recounted, “I observed a group of strong individuals attempting to restrain the young man. Initially, I thought he was engaged in a physical altercation.”
“Later, I discovered that he had ingested illicit drugs. Subsequently, those individuals abandoned him, and he proceeded towards a nearby transformer, where he tragically encountered electrocution,” the source told The Naija News
Despite consistent warnings from the federal ministry of health and the efforts of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to combat drug-related illicit activities and abuse, many young people continue to indulge in drug usage and its harmful consequences.
This distressing incident involving the young man has rapidly circulated on various social media platforms.
