A Christmas Miracle
The four friends couldn’t stop talking about the Christmas market and the magical moment when the carolers appeared, handing out gifts to everyone. They felt like they had experienced a Christmas miracle.
As they walked home, they decided to use the money they had received to buy some food and drinks for their families. They went to the market and bought some rice, chicken, and vegetables, and then headed home to start cooking.
Lekan’s mother was overjoyed when she saw the food her son had brought home. She hugged him tightly and thanked him for his kindness.
Korede’s family was also thrilled with the food he had brought home. His younger siblings cheered and clapped when they saw the chicken and rice.
Ayo’s mother was so grateful for the food that she started crying. She had been struggling to make ends meet, and the food Ayo had brought home was a huge blessing.
Tunde’s family was also very grateful for the food he had brought home. His father, who had been ill for some time, smiled weakly and thanked Tunde for his kindness.
As the four friends sat down to eat with their families, they felt a sense of joy and contentment that they had never felt before. They knew that they had made a difference in their families’ lives, and that was the best Christmas gift they could have asked for.
Just as they were finishing their meal, there was a knock at the door. It was Mama Ebun, the woman who had hired them to help her with her Christmas market stall.
“Merry Christmas, my dear boys!” she exclaimed, beaming with joy. “I hope you’re enjoying your Christmas celebration.”
The four friends smiled and thanked her, and then Mama Ebun dropped a bombshell.
“I have some good news to share with you,” she said, her eyes twinkling with excitement. “I’ve been selected to cater for a big Christmas party in Victoria Island, and I want you boys to help me.”
The four friends looked at each other in amazement. This was an opportunity of a lifetime!
“We’re in, Mama Ebun!” they exclaimed in unison.
And with that, their Christmas celebration took on a whole new dimension.
