A Book Launch and inauguration of the Foundation of the 4th substantive Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Akure, Professor Peter Olufemi Adeniyi will take place on the 7th of November 2024 by 10:00 am at the Theodore Idibiye Francis Auditorium, Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).
The Book titled LIFTED is an autobiographical piece detailing and chronicling the Odyssey of the Professor of Geoinformatic System , GIS from the rustic town of Ootunja in Ikole Local Government of Ekiti State to the Pinnacle of his profession and his academic journeys spanning more than six decades.
The launch of the Peter Adeniyi Foundation is the formalization of the founder’s quiet philanthropic gestures over the years and to broaden the reach to more persons in the society.
According to the Chairman of the Planning Committee Professor Olatunde Arayela , the Chief Host of the event is the current Vice Chancellor, FUTA Professor Adenike Oladiji while the special guest of honor is the Executive Governor of Ekiti State , His Excellency , Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji.
Guests are expected to be seated by 9:45 am.
