The Chairman of Odi-Olowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Ajala (HRA ), has called for unity among the Muslim Ummah.
HRA gave the call in a heartfelt message on Monday to commemorate Eid-ul-Maulud.
The council boss emphasized the profound impact of the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings on the Muslim community worldwide.
Reflecting on this significant occasion, HRA urged individuals to embrace and propagate the core values of love, peace, and kindness that the Prophet exemplified throughout his life.
HRA stated, “On this special day, let us remember the Prophet’s teachings of love, peace, and kindness to our fellow human beings.”
He encouraged celebrating the Prophet’s birth by actively spreading love and compassion in our communities, transcending religious affiliations.
Highlighting the importance of tolerance and unity, he remarked, “It is important we remember the Prophet’s message of tolerance and love for all humanity. Let’s imbibe this virtue by spreading this message to our community irrespective of our religion affiliate.”
He further expressed a wish for the spirit of Eid-ul-Maulud to foster unity and prosperity, stating, “May the spirit of Eid-ul-Maulud bring unity, harmony, and prosperity to our lives in our LCDA, Lagos State and our Nation as a whole.”
