The Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State Chapter, Mustapha Adekunle, widely known as Sego, has expressed optimism about the future of transportation in Lagos following a pivotal stakeholders’ meeting organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation.
The meeting, held today, was centered on the integration of informal minibuses, commonly referred to as Korope or Danfo, into the regulated bridge scheme along the busy Lekki-Epe corridor. This move is part of the state’s broader strategy to streamline its transportation network and address pressing issues such as congestion and safety.
