The Auditing Legislative Committee at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has commended the exemplary governance of Odi Olowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA)
The commendation was given after the executive Chairman of the LCDA, Hon Rasaq Ajala (HRA)presented the council’s achievements before the committee.
The committee, chaired by Hon Nureni Ayinde Akinsanya from Mushin Constituency 1, along with other legislators, welcomed HRA accompanied by his Vice, Hon Seyi Jakande, Council Manager Mrs. Oshonaike, and the Council Treasurer.
The session focused on assessing the performance and impact of the LCDA on the local community.
Commending the efforts of the council, the committee acknowledged the proactive governance led by Ajala.
It stated that “HRA has always been ensuring that residents within Odi Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA experience tangible benefits of democratic governance.”
The positive review of the committee highlighted the dedication of the chairman to fulfilling the promises made to the residents.
In response, HRA expressed gratitude for the committee’s recognition and emphasised the collaborative relationship between the council and the legislative arm in advancing community development initiatives.
He specifically praised the leadership of Hon Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, for fostering an environment conducive to progress.
Furthermore, HRA extended his appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his visionary leadership in propelling comprehensive development across Lagos State.
He reaffirmed Odi Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA’s commitment to align with the state’s goals and pledged unwavering support towards achieving shared objectives.
