Hon Jimi Benson,ember of the House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has stated that the new legislative chamber within the Ikorodu Local Government, will enhance operational capacity of legislators.
Benson said this on Wednesday May 1, 2024, at foundation laying ceremony for the construction of the chamber.
The event, marked by enthusiasm and commitment to community development, signifies a crucial step towards enhancing governance and service delivery in the constituency.
Benson commended the proactive efforts of Ikorodu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, for spearheading the initiative to establish a dedicated legislative chamber.
Expressing admiration for this strategic move, Benson highlighted the importance of such a facility in enabling legislators to effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities.
“I am deeply honoured to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ikorodu Local Government legislative chamber,” stated Hon.
