A distressing cry for help has been made by Herbeoler Shegun, a Nigerian man who claims to be living in fear of his life due to the actions of a powerful oppressor, Adeoje Adetunji, also known as Etije.
According to Shegun’s Facebook post, Adetunji has been using his influence and claimed connections to the Inspector General of Police to intimidate and threaten him.
Shegun alleges that Adetunji has been using his power to oppress him, and has even gone as far as to claim that he has the authority to kill anyone who offends him, with impunity.
The trouble began, Shegun claims, when Adetunji’s wife, who runs a shop opposite Shegun’s, allowed her customers to urinate near Shegun’s shop, causing a disturbance and unpleasant odors. When Shegun confronted one of the customers, Adetunji and his associates allegedly ganged up on him, beating him and tearing his clothes.
Shegun reports that he was forced to seek medical treatment and later filed a complaint with the police. However, Adetunji failed to appear at the police station, and Shegun claims that Adetunji has continued to threaten and intimidate him, using his claimed connections to the police to avoid accountability.
In a recent incident, Shegun alleges that Adetunji and his associates attacked him again, beating him severely and causing him to nearly faint. Shegun’s brother reported the incident to the police, but Adetunji’s associate was already at the station, filing a complaint against Shegun.
Shegun is now appealing to the public, the Inspector General of Police, and prominent individuals to come to his aid and help him seek justice. He fears for his life and is desperate for assistance in bringing Adetunji to account for his actions.
