In a bid to ensure smoother Hajj operations, the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Usman, has reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to strengthening its collaboration with Tour Operators.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new office of the Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) in Lagos on Thursday, Professor Usman stated, “The Commission will continue to strengthen its relationship with Tour Operators to ensure smooth Hajj operation.”
He further assured the Association that NAHCON would address their challenges, particularly concerning Umrah visas.
In his remarks, NAHCON Commissioner of Operations, Prince Anofiu Elegushi, announced that the Commission had successfully concluded the screening process for Tour Operators who applied for the 2025 Hajj license.
Abdulfatai Abdulmajeed, the Chairman of AHUON’s Board of Trustees, expressed gratitude for NAHCON’s continuous support and pledged cooperation, saying, “We appreciate NAHCON for supporting us and promise to work together.”
The event highlighted the importance of collaboration between NAHCON and Tour Operators to ensure successful and seamless Hajj and Umrah operations for Nigerian pilgrims.
