Giving Back
As the four friends’ business continued to thrive, they began to think about ways to give back to their community.
“We’ve been blessed with so much,” Lekan said, during one of their brainstorming sessions. “It’s time we gave back.”
“I agree,” Korede said. “But how do we do it?”
Ayo smiled. “I have an idea. Let’s start a free computer training program for kids in our community.”
Tunde’s eyes lit up. “That’s a great idea! We could use our laptops and tablets to teach them.”
Lekan nodded. “And we could partner with local schools and community centers to reach more kids.”
Korede grinned. “Let’s do it! We can call it ‘Tech4Kids’.”
The four friends high-fived each other, excited to start their new project.
Over the next few weeks, they worked tirelessly to set up the Tech4Kids program. They partnered with local schools and community centers, recruited volunteers, and developed a curriculum.
