Fountain University Osogbo (FUO) has once again proven its sporting prowess, securing an impressive second place overall at the Osun Inter-Collegiate Games.
The university contingent returned home with a remarkable 12 medals, including 6 gold and 6 bronze, solidifying its position as a top contender in the competition.
The Head Coach of FUO, Alh. Ganiyu Adedokun, proudly shared the news, expressing immense satisfaction with the team’s outstanding performance. “I am thrilled with the outcome of the games. Our students have shown remarkable dedication, hard work, and teamwork, and this achievement is a result of their efforts,” he said.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Olayinka Karim, was equally elated upon hearing the results. She commended the students, coaches, and the entire university community for their unwavering support.
