Fountain University College of Law has successfully inducted 37 of its students into the prestigious Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC). This milestone underscores the institution’s commitment to equipping its students with professional skills in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
The induction ceremony, held at the ICMC House in Abuja, marked the culmination of an intensive training program conducted by ICMC-certified mediators.
The training, which ran from October 7 to October 10, 2024, at Fountain University College of Law, provided participants with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in mediation and conciliation.
Speaking on the achievement, Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, expressed her pride and lauded the efforts of the faculty. “As we celebrate this achievement, I invite external stakeholders, including law firms, corporate organizations, and individuals seeking quality legal education, to consider Fountain University as a destination of choice for training in the field of law,” she said.
