A couple narrowly escaped death on Thursday evening when a container-laden trailer overturned and crushed their stationary car just moments after they had stepped out of the vehicle.
The incident occurred near the Ogbomoso High School area, where the trailer, identified with Nasarawa registration number JZ 101 ZA, was transporting a long container.
The vehicle lost balance, toppling the massive container onto a parked car with Lagos registration plates.
Eyewitnesses recounted the tense scene, marveling at the couple’s fortunate timing. According to reports from InsideOgbomoso, the couple had exited their car only moments before the container landed, leaving the vehicle heavily damaged but sparing their lives.
While the couple remains unnamed, their narrow escape has drawn widespread attention and gratitude for what many are calling a “miraculous” survival.
