In a ceremony marked by pride and celebration, the Yaba College of Technology Alumni Association presented an Award of Excellence to Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala, Chairman of the Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
The honour, acknowledging his outstanding leadership and dedication to community development, was awarded at the prestigious Emmanuel Nwachukwu Hall within the Yabatech Alumni Building.
Hon. Seyi Jakande, Vice Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, accepted the award on behalf of Chairman Ajala, who expressed gratitude for the recognition.
“This award is not only for Hon. Ajala but a tribute to the people of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA,” Jakande stated during his speech.
He highlighted the chairman’s commitment to fostering growth and improvement within the community.
A distinguished delegation from the LCDA accompanied the vice chairman to the ceremony, underscoring the administration’s unity and dedication to service.
Among them were Hon. Rilwan Ola Ajenifuja, Leader of the Legislative Arm of the LCDA; Hon. Mujeeb Ayinde Daramola, Secretary of the LCDA; and Mr. Martins Elijah, Chief of Staff to the Chairman.
Additional dignitaries included Hon. Faiz Olayori Kadiri, Supervisor for Education; Hon. Babatunde Oniya, Supervisor for Tourism and Chieftaincy Matters; Hon. Isiak Onoshokun, Supervisor for Agriculture; and Special Advisers Hon. Fuad Onisemo on Special Duties and Abubakar Babatunde Ilyas on Information.
