Social activist Reno Omokri has urged the public to scrutinize the silence of prominent figures Peter Obi and Obi Ezekwesili regarding a horrific incident in Onitsha, Anambra State.
Omokri emphasizes the need for accountability, asking critical questions about their response to a tragedy that shook the community.
He stated, “Before allowing yourself to be gaslighted by Peter Obi and Obi Ezekwesili, ask them why they refused to speak when a pregnant Harira Jubril and her four underaged daughters, Fatima, 9; Khadijah, 7; Hadiza, 5; and Zaituna, 2, were killed in broad daylight by unknown gunmen suspected to be IPOB members in Onitsha, Anambra State, on May 22, 2022.”
Omokri’s remarks come as a call to action for citizens to demand transparency and moral clarity from their leaders in the face of violence and tragedy.
