Seventeen professional secretaries from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) have been awarded the prestigious title of Fellows at the recently concluded Chartered Institute of Professional Secretarial Staff of Nigeria (CIPSSON) annual conference held in Benin City, Edo State.
The 17 newly conferred Fellows, led by Mrs. Bunmi Ajayi, President of FUTA’s CIPSSON chapter, were presented to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji. During the presentation, Mrs. Ajayi highlighted the significance of their achievement and expressed the Fellows’ commitment to further enhancing the university’s administrative framework.
In response, Professor Oladiji commended the secretaries for their dedication and professionalism, stating that their new status not only elevates their individual profiles but also brings added prestige to FUTA. She encouraged them to lead by example and contribute to the institution’s continued growth and excellence.
The Vice Chancellor also reiterated her support for continuous professional development, urging the Fellows to use their new title as a platform for greater leadership and service, both within and beyond the university.
The honoured Fellows include: Ajayi Bunmi Elizabeth, Imoru Ruth Mofoluwaso, Akinnagbe Oluyinka Abolore, Ogunmakinde Janet Lade, Akinmoladun Oluwakemi Amoke, Akintokunbo Dupeore Tomi, Ariyo Patience Foluke, Oladeji Catherine Bosede, Israel-Omolayo Abigail Olukemi, Oladeji Oludunsin Comfort, Johnson Helen Olabisi Durotola, Aremu Folasade Motunrayo, Kuboye Olajumoke Yetunde, Adejuyigbe Olubunmi Adenike, Akanni Folakemi Oluwatoyin, Babalola Toluwase, and Bobola Grace Kehinde.
