In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Women Management at the Owutu Branch of the Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society (NASFAT) has generously donated medicated glasses to the congregation at Azeeziyah Central Mosque in Igboolomu, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

This initiative, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for community members, took place shortly after the Jum’ah (Friday) prayer.

Leading the charge was Alhaja Modinat Ishola, the Branch Women’s Affair Secretary and Coordinator for the Lagos Zone One Hajj and Umrah.

During the distribution event, she expressed the motivation behind this philanthropic act.

She stated, “In preparation for our 25th annual Women’s Week, and as part of giving back to the community, the Women Management of Owutu Branch voluntarily donate medicated eyeglasses to the congregation of Al Azeeziyah Central Mosque.”

At the event, the following opticians were present: Alhaja Daramola from LUTH Federal Hospital, Idiaraba, Lagos, Nigeria; Alhaja S. Salami; and Alh Sheikh Buliaminnu Majimilade Azeez.

Beneficiaries of the donation expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.

One recipient, shared, “These glasses have made a significant difference in my daily life. I can now read and engage with my community more effectively.”

Another beneficiary added, “I am truly thankful to NASFAT for this kind gesture. It shows that they care about our well-being.”

Through this initiative, NASFAT not only provides essential support to its congregation but also strengthens the bonds of community solidarity, paving the way for a brighter future for all.
