“The Commission’s attention has been drawn to an allegation of wrong figures entered into polling unit result sheets in the ongoing Edo State Governorship election,” INEC stated in a statement.
This marks the second complaint reported among the 4,519 polling units utilized during the election process.
In response to the allegations, INEC has committed to a thorough investigation, emphasizing its dedication to upholding the integrity of the electoral process.
“The Commission will immediately investigate the matter and deal with any proven infraction,” the statement continued.
