Ibraheem Akolade Oladimeji, also known as ImoleSports, one of Oyo State’s top sports presenters and analysts, will host another edition of the Sports Quiz for both public and private secondary schools across the state.
This is disclosed to the public by him on his Sports programme on one of the “giant” radio stations in Ibadan, where he resides and works.
The ever-energetic OAP is the mastermind behind the Sports Quiz, which has been a success with three previous editions.
The sports quiz had reignited students’ passion and zeal for sportsmanship throughout the state and beyond.
The event this year takes place on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at NUJ Hall, Iyaganku G.R.A., Ibadan, according to event committee members
The programme includes a sports quiz for students from participating schools, an award presentation to dignitaries who have contributed to the world of sports and entertainment, music performances, and a lot of fun.
Furthermore, all participating schools will receive consolation prizes in addition to certificates and a plethora of prizes going to the first, second, and third place schools, respectively.
Additionally, a number of OAPs who will be gracing the occasion with their presence and glitz will be available for the students to meet, greet, and take pictures with.
Imolesports utilized the platform to appeal to well-known individuals, sports enthusiasts, businesses, and sectors that share his passion for sports to support him by endorsing the initiative; any assistance or support of any kind will be greatly valued.
The Sports Statistician also thanked the owners of schools, radio stations, media outlets, bosses and colleagues, and everyone who has supported the program since its inception.
He stated that Light of Faith Islamic Schools, Olorunsogo, Akanran Road, had won the previous edition, followed by TMM Schools, Odo Ona, in second place while Unique Legacy Schools, Ajawele took third position
He assured everyone that registration is still open for this year’s event, which will be even bigger and more successful than in previous years.
