Barr. Abdullahi Zubairu Abdullahi, the Registrar of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, conducted an interactive session on Thursday, September 12, 2024, with the Registry staff, pledging to bolster efficiency and teamwork within the department.
Reflecting on his journey since assuming office on September 5, 2022, Barr. Abdullahi expressed satisfaction with the cooperation and camaraderie extended to him by the Registry staff and the broader Polytechnic community. He lauded the dedication and hard work of the majority of the staff, describing them as committed and industrious individuals.
In his address, the Registrar proposed the introduction of an Endowment/Welfare Scheme, aimed at fostering a sense of unity and teamwork among the Registry staff.
He also urged staff members to avoid engaging in hearsay and gossip, instead encouraging them to focus on personal development through further studies and participation in seminars and workshops.
The staff responded positively, congratulating Barr. Abdullahi on his two-year milestone and expressing gratitude for the opportunity to voice their concerns and suggestions. They appreciated the open forum to ask questions and discuss strategies for enhancing the Registry Department and the Polytechnic as a whole.
Abdullahi Ibrahim Shehu, Head of Information and Protocol, conveyed the staff’s collective support and prayers for the Registrar’s continued success and the positive initiatives he has introduced.
