Today, Hon Yemi Alli, Member of the House of Representatives for Mushin 1 Federal Constituency, inaugurated a newly constructed 40-bed hospital.
This state-of-the-art medical facility is set to transform healthcare accessibility and quality for residents within Mushin 1 Federal Constituency.
The event highlighted the collaborative effort between the government and stakeholders aimed at empowering the local community through enhanced healthcare services.
In his inspiring speech, Hon Yemi Alli emphasized the importance of the project, stating, “Today, we inaugurate not just a building, but a beacon of hope and a promise of better health for our people.”
He acknowledged the pivotal role played by Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), whose unwavering support was instrumental in realizing this vision.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Her Excellency, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in bringing this vision to fruition.
“Her commitment to sustainable development and grassroots empowerment has been truly inspiring, and we are honoured to have her partnership in this noble endeavour,” he said.
Hon Alli further announced the establishment of sick bays in public primary schools, each equipped with an ambulance, to ensure prompt access to healthcare for schoolchildren.
“This initiative is a crucial step in ensuring that our children have immediate access to healthcare services, promoting their health and well-being as they pursue their education,” he remarked.
The newly inaugurated hospital stands as a testament to the promises made during Hon Alli’s campaign, reflecting his synergy with government efforts at the grassroots level.
While handing over the facility to the executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo, Hon Rasaq Ajala, the Rep member stated, “Let us continue to work together, hand in hand, to create a healthier, stronger, and more prosperous Mushin.”
The inauguration ceremony was graced by notable dignitaries, including Hon Rasaq Ajala, Chairman of Odi-Olowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, his Vice, Hon Seyi Jakande, and Senator Ganiyu Solomon, among others.
