The Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala, has announced an upward review of salaries for non-pensionable staff members.
The salary review was announced in the main hall of the council, where all affected staff members gathered to receive the good news.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. Ajala emphasized the importance of punctuality and dedication to work, stating, “I want to remind everyone that attendance is crucial; those who are consistently absent will be asked to leave. My intention throughout this exercise has been to remain fair and impartial, as I view each of you as an integral part of our collective success.”
He encouraged the staff to reciprocate the LCDA generosity with improved service delivery.
Notable increments were awarded to those who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication to their roles.
Beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to the chairman for this generous gesture.
Dr. Mary Onyedikachi, a consultant at the Primary Health Center located on Cocker Road in Ilupeju, conveyed her appreciation to Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala.
She remarked, “I am truly thankful for the upward review of my salary, especially during this challenging economic period. I pray for continued success and elevation for the Chairman and his entire team.”
Mrs. Shadare Oluwafunmilayo Mariam, a laboratory scientist at Ajisegiri Primary Health Center residing in Oshodi, also expressed her gratitude.
She stated, “This is a significant development from the Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, and I sincerely appreciate the chairman and his team for this commendable initiative amidst current economic hardships. I pray for blessings upon him, his family, and his team.”
Mr. Suleiman Mufatu, a tipper driver in the Department of the Environment, thanked the council chairman for the salary increase, offering prayers for divine blessings upon him and his team. Similarly, Mrs. Lamina, a cleaner in the Idi-Oro area, was overwhelmed with gratitude for the increase in her salary, hoping for continued elevation for the chairman as well.
The new salary payments are set to commence in August, marking a significant step toward supporting the livelihoods of the dedicated staff of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA.
