The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) celebrated its Diamond Jubilee with a grand dinner at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, on June 27, 2024. During the event, the Nigeria Police Force was awarded for its outstanding compliance with the NIPR Act.
The award recognizes the Nigeria Police Force as the leading agency in adhering to the NIPR Act, particularly in the appointment of Public Relations Officers across Zonal and State Commands, and its dedication to the continuous training and re-training of its Public Relations personnel.
This accolade highlights the leadership of Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, in fostering effective communication management and public relations practices within the force.
