In response to a viral video circulating on social media, the Nigeria Police Force has expressed strong condemnation of the unprofessional behaviour displayed by officers performing guard duties for a young man.
The video shows the officers encouraging the young man to mishandle the naira, a blatant violation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act and a disgrace to the dignity of the police force.

The Nigeria Police Force has stated that they are taking immediate action to identify and discipline the officers involved.
They have also called upon the young man featured in the video to report to the nearest Police Force Intelligence Department or contact the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja for a thorough investigation.
The police have reiterated their commitment to upholding ethical standards and have assured the public that those responsible for this unprofessional conduct will face appropriate sanctions.
