The Mandate Movement (TMM) in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Lagos State, has distributed foodstuffs and cash to its members across all five wards of the LCDA.
The distribution, which took place during the LGA meeting, aimed to bolster the morale of party faithfuls and strengthen their resolve ahead of the upcoming political season.
The Chairman of the Mandate Movement in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr. Oluyemi Odusoga, disclosed that each of the five wards received five bags of rice and cash donations.
This initiative was part of the Movement’s ongoing efforts to support its members and foster community cohesion within the party.
“We appreciate the support of Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Engr. Oduborisa, Hon. Saka Solaja, Cardinal James Odunbakun Baba Eto, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, Hon. Jimi Benson, and others who have stood by us,” Mr. Odusoga stated.
The distribution event, held at Apalura, the residence of Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, witnessed a large turnout of TMM members from across the five wards of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Odusoga encouraged members to remain focused and continue supporting the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“Today’s gathering reaffirms that the Mandate Movement in Lagos State, under the leadership of Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Baba Eto, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obada, and Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, is strong and united,” he declared.
The event, which recorded over 1,000 attendees, also served as an opportunity to introduce the Local Government and Ward Executives to the members. Mr. Akeem Awosanya, Chairman of the TMM Apex body in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, emphasized the unwavering support of members for the APC and praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for their commitment to improving the lives of Lagosians.
“President Tinubu remains the best in terms of competence, and we are fully behind his leadership,” Awosanya affirmed.
The Mandate Movement continues to play a pivotal role in the political landscape of Lagos State, particularly in Ikorodu Division, under the guidance of Alhaji De Cubano, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, Rep. Babajimi Benson, Engr. Kunle Oduborisha, and Hon. Nurudeen Saka-Solaja, among others.
As the 2024 elections draw near, the Mandate Movement remains committed to supporting the APC and ensuring the success of its candidates at all levels of government.
