Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Senate President, Godswill Akpabio today inaugurated the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) plant at Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Limited in Ikeja.
The state-of-the-art plant boasts an impressive annual capacity to assemble and produce 10,000 trucks, positioning it as a pivotal player in Nigeria’s industrial sector.
According to Sanwo-olu, the facility is set to generate approximately 3,000 jobs across the country, reinforcing Alhaji Aliko Dangote’s steadfast dedication to Nigeria’s and Africa’s industrial advancement.
A joint venture between Dangote Industries Limited and Sinotruk (China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd.), Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Limited is poised to significantly bolster Nigeria’s economic growth.
The partnership aims to catalyze industrialization, enhance economic development, and provide substantial employment opportunities.
During the inauguration ceremony, Governor Sanwo-Olu lauded Alhaji Dangote for his extraordinary contributions to Nigeria’s industrialization efforts.
