Macaulay Street in Odi-Olowo was transformed into a hub of political activity yesterday as a massive crowd gathered for the Justice Forum’s joint inaugural local government meeting.
The event, held at the group’s Secretariat at 16 Macaulay Street, marked a significant occasion for Justice Forum groups from Mushin and Odi-olowo.
Members began arriving as early as 11:00 a.m., creating a bustling atmosphere. The meeting was anchored by Hon. Adeyemi Alli, the Apex Leader of the group in Mushin and Odi-Olowo and a member of the House of Representatives for Mushin Constituency 1. He welcomed leaders and members, expressing gratitude for their turnout.
Hon. Alli emphasised the need for continued mobilization to expand the group’s membership, urging members to educate their wards about the reintroduced National Anthem and the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the founder of Justice Forum.
“The journey to 2027 has begun,” he declared, motivating attendees to spread the group’s message.
Hon. Toyin Fayinka, representing Mushin Constituency 2 at the National Assembly, praised the assembly as a gathering of dedicated patriots of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He reassured members of the leaders’ commitment to honesty, integrity, and transparency, aligning with Justice Forum’s core values.
Hon. Prince Adedokun Adegoke (Jembe) underscored the importance of Justice Forum membership in Mushin and Odi-Olowo, declaring it essential for political relevance in the area.
Odi-olowo-Ojuwoye LCDA Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala, highlighted the unity within the APC and commended the large turnout, noting it demonstrated strong support for the group. “We must not rest on our oars,” he urged, encouraging further mobilization.
APC Chairman in Odi-Olowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Ismail Babatunde Kazeem TUNKAZ, described his attendance as a homecoming and called for ongoing support and recruitment efforts.
Vice-Chairman of Odi-Olowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Seyi Jakande, praised Justice Forum for its equitable and fair treatment of followers. Hon. Lekan Fatodu, Director General of the Lagos State Sports Council, expressed admiration for the group’s leadership and pledged his support.
Hon. Owolabi Jamiu Falana, Permanent Board Member of LASUBEB, spoke of the youth’s confidence in Justice Forum’s future-focused approach, highlighting the group’s inclusivity and political empowerment for young members.
Other notable attendees included Legislative Arm Leader in Odi-olowo-Ojuwoye LCDA Hon. Rilwan Ola Ajenifuja, Special Adviser Hon. Bashir Magbade, and Justice Forum Women Leaders Alhaja Tawakalitu Aromire and Mrs. Bashirat Magbade, among others.
The event concluded with leaders and members committing to the advancement of the Justice Forum in Mushin, Odi-Olowo, and Lagos State at large.
