In a heartfelt tribute, Hon. Rasaq Ajala (HRA), Chairman of the Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has extended his condolences to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, following the death of his father, Pa Sulaimon Atanda Obasa.
Hon. Ajala expressed profound sympathy for Speaker Obasa and his family, acknowledging the deep sense of loss that comes with the passing of a father, regardless of his age.
“Losing a father could be a hard experience no matter how old he lived,” stated Ajala.
“I want to express my deepest condolences for the loss of your father. He may no longer be physically here with us, but his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.”
A Life of Virtue and Devotion
Pa Sulaimon Atanda Obasa was remembered as a man of virtue and devout faith.
HRA highlighted his dedication to the well-being of his family and community, describing him as humorous and God-fearing.
“Pa Sulaimon Obasa was a virtuous, God-fearing, and humorous man who dedicated his life to the well-being of his family,” Ajala remarked. “He lived a fulfilled life, leaving wonderful children behind, including our esteemed number three citizen in Lagos State, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.”
Prayers for Strength and Comfort
The council boss also offered prayers for the deceased and comfort for the grieving family.
“I pray to Allah to grant the departed soul eternal rest and give the children and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he said.
He conveyed his condolences on behalf of his family and the entire Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, including the executive, legislative arm, management, staff, and residents.
