Hon. Rasaq Ajala (HRA), the Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, has announced a comprehensive training programme on solar technology system design and installation.
According to the council boss, the training is aimed to equip participants with essential skills in renewable energy technology.
The training programme scheduled to commence from May 4 to May 26, will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays between 2 pm to 6 pm at the Ajisegiri ICT Center in Ilupeju, Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye, Lagos.
The curriculum includes a diverse range of topics essential for solar technology proficiency:
- Introduction to Renewable Energy and its Global Impact
- Energy Audit
- Basic Electricity and Solar Photovoltaic Installation
- Exploring Business Opportunities in the Renewable Energy Sector
Registration for the programme, which opened on Tuesday April 30, 2024, closes on Thursday May 2, 2024.
Applicants will undergo a screening process on May 3, 2024, from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Ajisegiri ICT Centre.
