In a bold move to reclaim the safety of prominent areas in Lagos, the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) joined forces with Elere, Isokoko, and Pen Cinema Police Divisions, alongside various security agencies, in a coordinated crackdown on miscreants plaguing Agege Underbridge, Pen Cinema, Raji Fashola Railway Station, and other notorious blackspots.
Yesterday evening, the collaborative efforts of law enforcement resulted in the apprehension of 23 suspects linked to various criminal activities in the targeted locations.
These individuals, responsible for harassment and terrorizing the community, now face imminent prosecution in accordance with the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade.
The operation signifies a decisive stance by the security forces to curb the rising tide of criminal activities in these areas, providing a sense of relief for residents and commuters.
