Hon Adeyemi Alli, representing Mushin 1 Federal Constituency, has provided financial grants to support over 1000 artisans, students, widows, and small-scale traders.
While speaking at the event Held on Thursday February 15, 2024, Hon Alli emphasized the continuous support from Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria and Microvis Microfinance bank, urging patience from the community. While acknowledging the prevailing hardships, he urged beneficiaries to use the grants wisely for business advancement.
“I thank Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria and Microvis Microfinance bank for their cooperations. I am using this medium to appeal for your maximum patient with my people.”
“No doubt, there is hardships in the country, but we must acknowledged that this hardships is not only peculiar to us in Nigeria alone, it is all over the world. On that note, I want to urge all the beneficiaries of today’s grants to use it judiciously and for the advancement of their businesses,” the Rep member said.
Highlighting his five years in office, Alli showcased a remarkable track record of over 100 people-oriented projects, including boreholes, solar street lights, road constructions, modern classrooms, and ICT centers. He also emphasized educational initiatives benefiting over 15,000 indigent students, with upcoming projects like the 40-bed hospital in Awolowo Modern Market.
“Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, within the space of five years in Office, we have facilitated over 100 people-oriented projects including: bore-holes, solar street lights, road constructions, blocks of modern classrooms, ICT centers. Over 15000 indigent students benefited from various educational initiative we have provided; free JAMB forms, Free Summer Classes, education financial Support and many others.
“Few weeks ago, we were all living witness to the completion of Mumuni street road construction with solar street lights, just like we have lights up many other streets within the constituency,” he added.
Acknowledging the cooperation received from the federal government and the House of Representatives, he thanked the executive chairman, Hon. Rasaki Ajala, and Hon. AkinSanya for their commitment to a better society. The representative reassured constituents that more people-centric projects would remain his priority, promising to deliver on the party’s manifesto.
“At this juncture, I want to thank the executive chairman, Hon Rasaq Ajala (HRA) for his commitment towards a better Society, I thank you. On the same vein I wish to acknowledge the efforts of my dear brother, Hon Nureni Akinsanya, (OSMAK) for his developmental contributions through the State Assembly. Together we will all take Mushin 1 Federal Constituency to a greater heights,” he said.
He expressed gratitude to the members and leaders of All Progressive Congress (APC) for the platform, assuring the community that, with prayers and cooperation, better days are ahead for Mushin 1 Federal Constituency.
“I want to assure you all that more of these people-oriented projects would continue to be my priority for you all. Government is aware of the hardship, but, with your prayers and cooperations, I am optimistic that better days is beaconing,” he concluded.
