Yoruba Nollywood actress, Mariam Muftaudeen, popularly known as Omo VC, has come forward with serious allegations, claiming that Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, Chairman of the Lagos Union Road Transport Workers (NURTW), has issued death threats against her and her daughter.
Omo VC took to her Instagram handle on Saturday to share her harrowing experience, detailing the threats and intimidation she claims to have endured from MC Oluomo.
In her post, she disclosed the challenges she faced during her pregnancy and the subsequent birth of her child, Zeenat Abebi.
According to Omo VC, MC Oluomo allegedly made life unbearable for her during this period and has continued to do so.
Despite efforts to reconcile and seek support for her daughter’s welfare, Omo VC asserted that MC Oluomo frustrated all attempts and resorted to threatening her life both physically and spiritually.
She mentioned having evidence of physical attacks and expressed her distress over the inability to find legal recourse due to hesitancy from legal professionals.
Omo VC refuted MC Oluomo’s claim of providing financial support, stating that she has been solely responsible for her daughter’s well-being.
She revealed receiving one million naira from him only after visiting his house, during which she alleges he instructed a police officer to shoot at her.
The actress pleaded with MC Oluomo to be responsible for their daughter’s welfare, cease his threats, and expressed concerns about the safety of her fiancé.
Omo VC highlighted the challenges she faces, including attacks on the highway and the toll it has taken on her mental health, with rising blood pressure.
In a poignant plea, Omo VC implored MC Oluomo not to harm her or their daughter, emphasizing the importance of their lives.
She acknowledged his power and influence but asserted that God is supreme. The actress concluded her post by calling on MC Oluomo to take responsibility for their daughter’s welfare and to halt any actions that endanger her life and the lives of those close to her.
The serious nature of these allegations raises questions about the potential legal implications and the safety of those involved.
