Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has embarked on a special visit to Mr. David Aina, a highly esteemed tailor, and the owner of Davis Cuts Fashion House, nestled in the vicinity of Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti.
The visit, brimming with nostalgia was a reconnection with a significant figure from Governor Oyebanji’s past.
David Aina, the masterful tailor behind Davis Cuts Fashion House, holds a unique place in the governor’s heart as the artisan responsible for crafting his clothing during his undergraduate days at Ondo State University in Ado-Ekiti, now known as Ekiti State University.
During the surprise visit, Governor Oyebanji couldn’t contain his delight as he reminisced about the times when Mr. Aina’s skilled hands meticulously fashioned his garments, and how those clothes became an integral part of his university journey.

The governor, who disclosed this via his Facebook page on Friday, said:
“I paid a surprise visit to Mr. David Aina, a highly respected tailor who owns Davis Cuts Fashion House, located around Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti.
“Mr. David holds a special place in my heart, as he was my favourite tailor who skillfully made my clothes during my undergraduate days at the Ondo State University in Ado-Ekiti,( now Ekiti State University) The visit was a delightful journey down memory lane, reconnecting with a person who played a significant role in my past and continues to shine in the world of fashion.”
