Senior Special Assistant, Special Duties and Strategy to Ondo State Governor, Dr Oladoyin Odebowale, has pledged legal support for Tani Olohun.
Odebowale made the pledge following the arrest and detention of the popular social media influencer by the police.
According to reports, the advocate of traditional religion and social media influencer, Tani Olohun, was imprisoned in Ilorin.
Magistrate Court in Ilorin on Thursday ordered his imprisonment till October 5, 2023.
Reports say he was arraigned for defamation of character and public disturbance by the police.
“Tani Olohun was reportedly arrested in Ibadan on Wednesday.”
Reacting, Odebowale pledged, “I will follow the matter keenly.”
“I do not have the details of the charge(s) against this traditionalist popularly known as Tani Olohun. He has been remanded in prison till 5th October, 2023,” he said.
“This very act will set in motion a chain of events the end of which nobody can predict.
“I have been contacting people. I will pledge more than legal support. This nonsense has to stop,” he added.
