Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has expressed his admiration for the exemplary performance exhibited by the Super Falcons during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, hosted across Australia and New Zealand.
In a grand gesture, Governor Uzodimma has pledged “to reward the outstanding athletes hailing from Imo State with valuable incentives.”
During a reception held at the government house in Owerri, Governor Uzodimma extended his warm felicitations to the talented athletes who have brought honor to both Nigeria and the continent of Africa through their remarkable accomplishments.

In recognition of their remarkable contributions, the governor has unveiled a comprehensive package of rewards for the distinguished quartet consisting of Chiamaka Nnadozie, Desire Oparanozie, Osinachi Ohale, and Tochukwu Oluehi.
Uzodimma has graciously pledged to bestow upon each of these exceptional athletes a coveted parcel of land within one of the most sought-after locales within the state’s capital.
As a token of appreciation for their dedication and skill, the governor has pledged a substantial monetary gift of $10,000 to each of the aforementioned athletes.
