Honorable Rasaq Olusola Ajala, Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, sends heartfelt greetings to Muslims worldwide on the occasion of the new year of the Muslim Calendar, known as Hijrah.
The council boss encourages Muslims to embrace the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which promote positivity and benevolence within the Muslim Ummah.
“Hijrah entails harnessing the power of positivity and propagating goodness,” he asserts.
He further emphasises, “Prophet Muhammad established a community that radiated goodness towards others and contributed to the betterment of humanity as a whole.”
Calling upon the residents of LCDA, he urges them to unite with his administration to propel the community forward and enable it to compete favorably with developed societies.
“The Prophet and his companions built a strong and harmonious community, focused on growth, adaptation, and charting their path to eventual success,” he elaborates.
“The essence of Hijrah goes beyond commemorating a historical event.”
He concludes by stating, “Muslims should persist in their pursuit of excellence, carrying the torch of their faith to illuminate the lives of others, regardless of their faith or beliefs.”
