In a significant development, Landmark College, Ikorodu has sworn-in newly-elected prefects, who will assume the responsibility of student leadership within the college.
The formal induction took place on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in the school hall.
Barrister Olusegun Gibson had the honour of administering the oath of office to the prefects.
During the ceremony, Mr. Sanni, J.A, the school principal, emphasised the importance of the prefects acting as exemplary figures for their fellows and as ambassadors for Landmark College.
“Prior to your selection as prefects, you underwent comprehensive training and rigorous evaluations. We thoroughly assessed your moral and academic standing, and we can confidently affirm that you possess the necessary qualities.
“We have ascertained that you are not inclined towards bullying, and I urge you to maintain your impeccable reputation,” stated the principal.
The high point of the event was the symbolic adornment of the new prefects with badges, symbolising their new leadership roles and responsibilities.
