President Bola Tinubu has concluded his participation in the 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union (AU) held in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Nigerian leader departed from Nairobi and is expected to return to his home country on Monday.
According to Channels, President Tinubu embarked on his journey from Abuja on Saturday to join other African leaders at the meeting.
During the AU gathering, he delivered a powerful message on Sunday, emphasising that Africa’s integration and prosperity cannot be achieved while its people suffer in pain and distress.
President Tinubu passionately reiterated the importance of Africa’s unity and resilience, categorically rejecting any notion of a renewed scramble for the continent’s resources.
Also, on Saturday, he urged fellow African leaders to uphold democratic principles, respect the rule of law, and ensure political stability within their respective countries.
Addressing the international community, President Tinubu appealed to the United Nations to take a firm stance against.
