Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Mmesoma Ejikeme, a student from Anambra, has expressed his sincere apologies to the Nigerian public and the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) for his daughter’s fraudulent act of falsifying her JAMB score.
He revealed that his daughter had kept this deceit hidden from him.
During an interview with the Nigerian Television Authority on Saturday, Mr Ejikeme stated, “My daughter failed to confide in me promptly about her actions.”
Recognizing her grave mistake, he admitted to scolding her severely and now seeks forgiveness from JAMB and the Nigerian people.
In a recent statement, JAMB exposed Ms Mmesoma’s forgery, where she had deceitfully portrayed herself as the top-performing student to deceive the public.
Consequently, JAMB not only exposed her true score but also imposed a ban on her.
Additionally, Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing rescinded the N3 million naira scholarship initially granted to her after discovering the falsification of her results.
