The Chairman, Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Rasaq Olusola Ajala, has celebrated the workers on their day.
The council boss applauded workers across the country for their dedication and sacrifices.
This was contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Orientation, Babatunde Abubakar, on Monday May 1, 2023.
“Today we celebrate the power of collective action and the achievements of the labor movement all over the world,” HRA said.
He added, “I wish to honor and recognize the contributions of workers across the globe, particularly the workforce in my LCDA, Odiolowo-Ojuwoye.”
He commended the workers who have contributed to the growth of the LCDA.
“The hard-working men and women who have contributed to the growth and the progress we have made so far in our LCDA deserve all the accolades and more for their contributions to our achievements,” he said.
He also acknowledged their sacrifices and dedication to their work.
“Today is to acknowledge your sacrifices and celebrate your contributions
“You are the invisible back of our achievements, we can stand strong because of your dedication and commitment to your duties,” he stated.
He assured them of his commitment to see to their welfare and to reward the hardworking men and women who have put in their best in their duties.
“I want to assure you that we are committed to your welfare and promise to do our best to see to your well-being within the limit of the resources at our disposal,” he said.
“I am wishing you a wonderful workers’ day filled with relaxation, celebration, and appreciation for all the hard work you do,” he concluded.
