First Bank of Nigeria Limited has reversed customer’s N35, 000 after a publication by The Naija News.
This was disclosed by the account holder who reached out to our correspondent after receiving the reversed amount.
The customer, Oregbesan Titilope Augustina, confirmed that First Bank actually did it two weeks after the TNN publication over the failed transaction.
Augustina had earlier complained about failed POS transactions of N35, 000 on February 18th.
Her complaint was published to help draw the attention of the bank authorities to the issue.
“Thank you, The Naija News. I want to really appreciate your support. In fact, the money has been reversed,” the elated customer said.
