The President of the Asiwaju Support Moving Train (ASMT), Hon Mujidat Folashade Ogunsola-Adegbenro, has distributed packages to member of the association in Ogun State.
The distribution was done by its Patron, Alhaji Mutairu Owoeye.
According to Hon Folashade, the gesture aimed at showing appreciation for a grand welcome she was given at the event organised by the Ogun State branch of the association to celebrate the victory of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The ASMT president appreciated the members for their overwhelming support during the last presidential election.
Folashade stated that the members deserved the gesture, considering the way she was received when invited to celebrate the victory of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu.
“I was excited the way members of ASMT received and welcomed me home to celebrate the victory of our political father, Bola Tinubu,” Folashade said.
She added, “ASMT will always support its members whenever the need arises.”
Hon Mujidat Folashade Adegbenro is the Founder of Femi Ogunsola Foundation (FOF) which was established to immortalize her late husband, Dr. Femi Ogunsola.
Dr. Femi Ogunsola was the Commissioner for Health under the administration of the late Gov. Admiral Mohammed Alabi Lawal between 1999 and 2001.
He was also appointed as the Commissioner for Education, and he served in the same capacity in the Ministry of Energy and Commerce between 2003 and 2011.
FOF is an initiative established to support widows and underprivileged children in the society.
