The governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Abba Kabir Yusuf has been declared the winner of the Governorship election held on Saturday Saturday .
He polled over 1 million votes of 1,019,602 votes, while Gawuna got 890,705 votes.
He was declared the winner of the election in by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in a video below.
It is the first time NNPP wins a Governorship election in Nigeria.
Abba Yusuf is the candidate of NNPP which is regarded as Kwankwaso’s party in Nigeria.
